The Karma Foundation Autism Grant Program
The Karma Foundation has long believed that small grants can produce big outcomes. It is with that thought in mind, that the Foundation is initiating a competitive program to award up to 20 grants of $2500 each to provide programs and services to help people with Autism in the State of New Jersey.
Who may apply: 501(c)3 organizations, public libraries, governmental entities, and public and private schools that work with children and/or adults with Autism in New Jersey.
How to apply: Fill out the form below, email or print the completed form and fax it back to 609-924-2714.
Grant criteria: Your proposal will be judged on the basis of need, originality, innovativeness and potential impact, as well as your organization’s ability to carry out your plan.
Deadline and notification: Application must be received by July 13. Limit one per applicant. Notification of award will be by August 1 for programs to begin September 1 or after.
Examples of what we will fund: New programs and services, educational materials, toys, equipment and furnishings, subscriptions, memberships, staff training, honoraria. Tell us what you need to make something happen that you couldn’t do without this grant.
What we won’t fund: iPads, loans, overhead/general operating, current salaries and fringe benefits, and legal expenses, grants to individuals, and programs already in your budget.
